Hi Don:

You should be able to find a USB cable for the printer at almost any PC 
or office supply store.  It does not need to be made by HP, they are 
"Universal"  Just check that both ends of the cable match your needs. 
There are only a few types available.  If the cable fits in to the 
opening on your printer and PC, it will work.
