[Ham-Computers] Linux Swap File

Greetings to the list.

Thanks to all of you who responded in the past. ("Windows Alternatives") I've
decided to install Suse Personal 9.1 on my friend's PC, and mine as well.
(Especially after getting a "taste" with Knoppix) What I need now, (If I'm
reading correctly) is how to go about creating a swap file, so I can run the install.

Also, since I don't have the budget for a Linux-compatable modem, is there a
way that I can run my existing win modem in Linux? If this can't be done, I'd
rather run a dual-boot. IF it can be done, is there such a critter as AOL for
Linux?

Thank you.

Paul W5PDA/4 (Almost windows-free hi hi)
