[Ham-Computers] Trogan horses

Chuck,

Has AVG found any of the files? The problem with some Trojan horses is that
there may be a file that reproduces the files you just deleted. Until you
find that file the warriers will still be coming out of the horse. This
sometimes requires doing file searches and using regedit to eliminate the
suspects.

XP is being attacked much more than 98 these days. You will find sometimes
that if you find the file that is cloaking the actual virus that AVG may
then find the rest. It takes a while and you must write down all file info
that comes up connected to the Trojan and then reason what is going on in
the mind of the enemy.

I may have told you things you already know but I would also like to see
what otherts have to say about all this.

Loren
