errr... yes and no :)
Yes you can copy/paste almost anything.  You just have to make sure the
formatting stays intact.

I'm not getting this but there's no reason you can't try it out.  Make
sure you have backup copies saved.  If it doesn't work, there's always
the UNDO function (ctrl-Z or Edit Menu-Undo, or the reverse arrow icon).
