A funny thing just occurred to me. Those who say that you can't install it in 
another machine, are usually those who forgot to disable "Processor ID" in 
BIOS and system settings.

And to clear up a commom mis-conception, there's a differance between 
registering and activating. Activation's (done right after you install) mandatory. 
Registering's (online) optional.

I too have LEGALLY sold my own original store-bought copy of Win XP.

USD $45.00 is a very reasonable price for a copy of Win XP upgrade. 
especially with all the original docs & manuals intact.
