Jeff,

Back in the days when I had a "Day Job", we had a tape changer with software 
that ran on a Novell 4.x server.  Did a daily, weekly and monthly backup 
automagically.  Never had a bit of trouble with it.  But of course it wasn't 
running under Windows, either.  We did get a bad batch of tapes, once.  Same
brand 
as we always had used.

Which reminds me.  I have a Sony DAT drive if anyone needs one for a spare.  
SCSI interface.  I'll have to look but I think it's most likely the 4GB model, 
surplused out of our spares inventory when we went up to the 9.1's.
