Me thinks the person who wrote this might have meant the PlayStation 2.  The
PS2 uses a Linux kernel while the Xbox uses a Windows 2000 kernel.

Ooooh, could you imagine what major news that would have been if MS really
used Linux in it's gaming box???  Then again, I have heard from reliable
sources that they use Linux/Unix servers in their environment where
stability is paramount.

And, for those of you brave enough, there are hacks out there to put Linux
on an Xbox.
