[Ham-Computers] Flasshing BIOS gone bad...

I just put a new system together using an ASUS P5LD2, socket 775
motherboard. I installed the operating system, loaded drivers, updates, etc.
I checked the BIOS and there had been many updates, since the one that came
flashed on the board. I installed the current BIOS and the install utility
verified it flashed okay. I rebooted the system and now it won't do
anything-not even post.

I tried the ASUS recovery program and, of course, the computer won't read
from an optical or floppy drive. I can't find anything helpful on the ASUS
Web site.

1. Any suggestions?

2. If it's not fixable, would this fault be covered under warranty? I
followed the instructions for flashing the BIOS. I've done it on other
boards many times and didn't have a problem. Any practical experience here?

Thank you.
