Sounds like some sort of registry corruption during shutdown. Could be
any number of causes (software and/or hardware). Would need more
details about your system for better analysis.
Common questions:
* What brand/model motherboard?
* System BIOS up to date?
* What chipset (Intel, VIA, SIS, nVidia, ATI)?
* System chipset drivers installed and/or up-to-date?
* RAID via software (Windows) or hardware?
* What RAID level (0, 1, 5, 0/1, 1/0, 5/1, etc)?
* RAID Controller BIOS up to date?
* RAID drivers up-to-date?
* What additional hardware is installed?
* Any Anti-Virus or Firewall software installed?
* Recurring issue?

Subject: [Ham-Computers] XP registry issue
XP Pro SP2 RAID
Upon every boot, I receive the following error message:
WINDOWS-REGISTRY RECOVERY
One of the files containing the system's registry data had to be
recovered by use of a log or alternate way. The recovery was successful.
OK
I'm unaware of any other symptom-the system seems okay. Suggestions,
please.
