When I got the machine it was about 1990 or maybe 1991.
But by that time 286s or maybe 386s were being sold so it was already 
old by puter standards.
I found somewhere by googling that the Epson Equity Ie ran at 8 and 10 
switchable.
I do know that it has a turbo switch on it so I know it has 2 speeds, 
and 8 and 10 are probably correct.
