[Ham-Computers] Help with Win 98

Maybe it come sup in Win 98 because it was not closed prior to exiting?

Brian,

I use NT5 and haven't run many boxes with 95/98/ME/XP but outside of a 
remotely operated machine (at a repeater site, for example) I can't think of any

good reason to have a modem dial-up attempt come up whan a machine boots.  Has
it 
always done this?  Or is this something new?
