[Ham-Computers] Eliminating Fold Marks On Scanned Document

Hello All, 		
	
I have a 6X9 color brochure cover that has text and a beautiful photo of a
mountain range for a background. Somebody folded it in half and this left a
visible crease. It is obvious when scanned. 	
	
I have photo editing software, such as Corel Draw 5 and IrfanView V3.95 Is there
any way to hide this crease so as to not ruin the beautiful photo with this
rather obvious flaw?  	
	
No, I can not 'see' it, but my fourteen year old grandson who spotted it can! He
will be doing the editing, that is, if one of you have some ideas for him to
