[Ham-Computers] Formatting Word pad Document

Dale,

Thank you. Ouch! A lot of money.

I just had a thought. I think that the Arkenstone OpenBook Unbound software,
$995 worth, which converts scanned B/W printed text into a speakable format,
also has an option to save the document in various word processing formats. I
think I recall that MS Word 5.0 was one of them.

Now, will MS Word 5.0 documents load into Word Pad correctly?

Sometimes what seems like a simple task ends up being one of great complexity.

Well Duane the only conversion program I could find was Wordport.
It cost 149 for a single user.
The web page is http://www.acii.com/wpt.htm
It will convert Professional Write 1.x and 2.x files to most Windows
Word Processor formats and HTML.

Hope this Helps

Regards and 73's
