Maybe the most commonly attacked BUT with a good virus protection, its
bulletproof, or at least mine is..

It's not safe to do so. Either splurge and buy a full email program
(Outlook is <$100, less if you buy the Office suite) but still full of
security holes. Others are both cheaper and safer.
OE (rather than full Outlook) is THE most commonly attacked email reader
for trojan horse viruses (the ones that email themselves to everyone in
your address book) - and this is WITH the "no attachments".
And BTW, I have no idea how to turn it off, either.

Can anyone on the list tell me how to get rid of Outlook Express' "OE
has deleted an unsafe attachment....." ? It seems to delete almost any
attachment that has a URL as part of the attachment. Running XP PRO
