IF YOU WANT TO GET RID OF IT
then just don't use it and get another e-mailer and make it the default
but you can keep outlook from deleting all those
got to TOOLS
OPTIONS, security  and uncheck the button that's says
do not allow attachments to be saved
then you should get all attachments and let your virus checker worry about 
them
