[Ham-Computers] DSL question

Ok being new to DSL, here's my question. I'm working on my co-workers
computer and he has DSL and I don't. if I want to go online with his
computer from my house to work on his machine can that be done?

Will my phone line detect the DSL, etc..

Like I said I'm new to this, so I'm thinking I'll have to put my dialup on
his machine to fix what his problem is on his computer.
