OK, thanks for the responses to expanding the network.  Looks like most 
think the monitor cable might be a problem.

Next question:  
I recently had a meltdown on the computer that I finally resolved with a 
reinstall of Windows XP (more on this in a later post).  Then a 
reinstall of Netscape 7.  This resulted in the loss of all my email and 
bookmarks (I use Netscape as my mail browser program but NOT the online 
Netscape mail).  This happened some years ago when I was running 
Netscape 4.7 and I was able to recover all the email by looking for a 
directory of files with a particular extension, and copying them into 
the new installation.

BUT....this time I have forgotten the procedure to find the old files 
and the procedure to copy them over the new.

Can anyone help ???
