It is no mystery about the drivers being absent, anyone who knows DOS knows that
Brian. Maybe you should get your brother to help you with this?
The new hardware does not support the old 8 bit software drivers that DOS used.
You would be better off to put Windows 95B on it with MS DOS 6.22 and configure
it that way. You can always go dual boot.

Yes my brother walked me thru all that, and come to fiind out there are no
cr-rom drivers installed.
Its a HP computer and I'll have to find the model # and get on there site to
maybe obtain a driver fir it.
Only reason I'm doing this for a friend its has a Pentium 4 on it, 1600 mhz
processor, its prety darn fast to not have windows, it was used in a Paint
business, has all kind of porgrams for mixing up paints.
Unless you know of a place to obtain a driver for the cd-rom.
73,
Brian
