Too bad the designers of laptops apply the same logic. Try running some
heavy DSP or video applications on a laptop, outside of the typical 70
degree F office environs they ALL overheat. FWIW My Transmeta based laptop
runs about 0.7% at idle and close to 70% when running linrad with
external sound adapter.
