Duane, I'm not certain about Win95B, however for Win98SE I found the automatic uninstall used by Add/Delete does not remove many remnants that ultimately disallowed a newer version from being installed.  And yes, you have to get into the registry to fix all the issues.  In my case it turned into a Mell of a Hess and a great deal of work.  I would get onto the free McAfee Chat service and ask them either to e-mail you the procedure(s) to do the work or list the Web addresses where you can get info you need.  If all else fails, e-mail me direct (or use W0IKT at arrl.net) with your telephone number and I will call you about this.
