TweakUI is a unsupported Microsoft utility that tweaks this 'n that. For Win95B it was useful, among other things, to remove a listing in Add/Delete when you had already properly used Add/Delete to deleted the software. There was a caution statement for this version that advised users to not even think about using it on Win98/Win98SE, let along actually trying it.

TweakUI is also available for WinXP.

But TweakUI for Win98 and Win98SE appears to have been withdrawn by Microsoft. When you insert the Win98SE CD-ROM and look at the README.DOC File in the Microsoft Windows 98 Resource Kit Sampler, at section 4.0 you learn that "Note: TweakUI has been removed from the Windows 98 Resource Kit."

Neither do you find TweakUI on the Microsoft 98 Web pages.

Does anyone remember what happened to TweakUI for Win98/Win98SE?
