I am required to use Windows at the College but use Suse 9.2
on the desktops and my laptop here at home. It is a really
nice program and superior to XP in every way -- the only
deficits are where software authors have not yet ported their
apps to Linux or where MS-influenced hardware manufacturers
have refused to allow Linux folks to write drivers.

(Note: Unix underlies the new Apple OS as well.)

I just loaded Firefox and Thunderbird on the WinXP box at work
because I was sick and tired of the many limitations of the
MS apps that came with XP.
