[Ham-Computers] Linux and Firefox

Although I have a few Microsoft (and Novell) certifications professionally
(I have my little one man show consulting business), my preferred OS is SuSe
Linux- regardless of their Novell affiliation.

I think SuSe Linux Professional 9.1 is a great OS, plug and play is not much
(if any) less capable than Windows of the latest flavors. It's a breeze to
install, takes less time to install on the same machine as it takes for XP.
I use it on an old AMD 1 GHz Athlon with 512 MB of RAM. It's fast, never
crashes and everything I need is on it. It's on my home network, where I
have some Windows XP and 2000 machines as well, and a Win 2000 server. The
Linux machine is integrated in the Windows network for file sharing.

I installed Firefox on the Linux machine, and it works great. In fact I
installed it on my main Windows 2000 workstation as well and I'm much
happier with it than with MS IE, which I don't use any more.
