Hello,

I had interference with my 2 Meter reception from my USB wireless adaptor
and cleared it up and thought I would share this.

It started out that I noticed when trying to do EME I had signals in various
places in the lower portion of the band and discovered it was from my USB
wireless adaptor.

I had a ferrite choke so I put it around the cable to the
transmitter-receiver and it made a tiny difference but not that much..I was
trying close to the computer. After much experimentation this is what I
found out about did.

I went up close to the transmitter receiver and put the choke around the
coil while listening to receiver..it seemed to make some difference so I put
a second one on and it was doing more good.

What I ended up with is a loop 6 inches in diameter right at the 2.3ghz
transceiver with 5 ferrite chokes of which one is across coth cables where
the cable crosses, Now there is not enought interference to cause me
problems.

Moral of the story....Dont trust that if only 1 ferrite choke doesnt work
that they are no good..try several and see if that works.
