Yeah - but.... The problem was there was no network available. Wires had
been run from one end of the office to the other, but not enough of them.
They could have put the access point at that end, but that would have meant
either pulling another wire from one end of the office to the other or
stealing the conference room jack for the WAP. Eventually they pulled
another wire, but still had problems with the UPS trucks, even without the
antenna booster.

So, put an access point in his office and/or conference room - clean, legal
and effective. Just use a different frequency from the APs on the servers.
