If the picture's orientation were changed, this would indeed correct the
problem.  However, it is not clear from Duane's original email if the
orientation of the original scanned image and the image Corel is the same.

If it is 90 degrees out, then rotating the image is the solution.  But if
the orientation is the same, then I cannot explain the size change.
