Have an unused APC SNMP management box for UPS's, Win or Unix.
Comes with disks and docs.
OR
It's got an 80C188 micro in it, 10bT ethernet, and two serial ports.
It will boot from internal eprom, internal flash (you're own progra
if you like) or bootp (your own program if you like). Guess you could
put your own stuff in the eproms as well.
$60 includes priority mail to any of 50 USA states.

parallel to serial
OR
serial to parallel
converter.
serial in RJ45, parallel out DB25 or
parallel in db-25, serial out RJ45
One or the other, it's not bidirectional.
Has one RJ45 and one DB25 connector.
Setup info printed on device.
