I would have replied to you directly, but for some reason this
list doesn't allow that option.
We have had excellent luck with the "spybot" program (details
of an older release can be read at:
http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file_description/0,fid,22262,00.asp
The current release of the engine itself is v1.2 and the definitions
are updated about every two weeks or so.
We have been running "spybot" on Win98, Win ME, and the current
release of XP Pro.
The lavasoft offering is quite good also.
