If Windows XP Home Edition is still based on DOS (it could be - I 
haven't had any experience with it) like the earlier home versions of 
Windows were, then it could be an issue. However, I would consider any 
operating system based on DOS to be "antique". Windows NT, 2000, and XP 
(Pro and Server at least) use a virtual machine to emulate DOS when 
needed for backward compatibility, and each instance gets its own HMA 
(only if necessary, though). I seriously doubt that newer versions of 
Norton Antivirus still work the same way.
