[Ham-Computers] spooler service for printer

The spooler is where the computer stores the data destined for the
printer -- for when the printer is unable to keep up with the flow.
Newer printers tend to have more memory so this is less and less of an
issue.
Where you have a multi-purpose device there is likely some conflict that
is telling the spooler to store the data but it is not getting released
to the printer due to a wrong message that another application needs a
shared resource.
You need to discover if the scan or fax feature is incorrectly seen as
active.
