Thanks for the info Ben.

To those interested it is really just a standard 3v battery CR2032 with the
addition of leads for soldering to the PCB.

To simplify future replacements, I soldered wires to those pads and routed
them into the main compartment that is accessable with only two screws.
Soldered these to the $1.32 battery and wrapped it with black electrical
tape. Use caution in soldering to the battery, I used a real hot iron. You
don't want to heat the battery much.
