[Ham-Computers] RE: bios flash question

Hi Aaron,

Before declaring defeat, I wanted to double check with you...I've done what
I think you told me, but no luck:

Replaced 750MHz PIII (which was running as a recognized PII) with a true PII
450MHz.

Disabled supervisor and user passwords, which I understand, disables BIOS
protection...is that the BIOS Protection you refer to?

Disable CPU cache, bios, video, and other cache options

still get exactly the same message..."file sizes do not match".  By the way,
what files are being compared?  Is it the new file vs the file already in
flash?  If so, why does the backup copy of the original file not match the
file in flash?

Are there any option switches on the awdflash utility that might help?
