Hey Bing! Don't run off... There are those among us
lurking out here that don't run that OS, that just
basically sit back and smile a knowing smile when
this kind of stuff comes up. Virus ? What's that ?!
Unfortunately, I'm helping out a neighbor that's NEW
to computing with his W98 system. Going to try and
impress him with Linux and/or Warp this next week :)
It will eventually get back to Digital HamOps Topics. :)
Although I can see where keeping ones computer running
is not all that much off topic, it's just unfortunate
that some OS's take more to keep running than others.
Hence, more words needed to accomplish it...
I don't begrudge the M$ guys the right to use this list
for such as long as they're hams and using their computers
as best they can for Amateur Radio applications...
I haven't seen too much traffic re: the NOS and NET usage
as of late. Is anyone out here still using older computers
as dedicated AMPR.ORG stations ?
