[Ham-Computers] Intermittent Computer lockup under Norton

The different registry cleaners that are available don't have
conflicts with each other, some just find more then others!
Once I removed Norton from my systems, or my life, after using
Norton's since Dos v1, and trying McAfee's for a time, and now
running Ontracks FixIt, many, many problems/PC nightmares have
disappeared. Just use Norton for anti-virus, if you have too, but
leave the rest of it off your system. As a matter of fact, most
of the shareware and freeware registry cleaners and individual
maintenence programs I tried kept the system running smoother
then Norton's.
After using Ontracks Suite of utilities for almost a year now, I
seldom have any problems with windows 98se. As a matter of fact,
it's running so well, I will not change operating system for
anything else that is out there!
