Hi neighbor :)
Still only one word for you, Phil... LINUX!
Well... Maybe two... OS/2 :)
Good thinking on NOT going back to Out(of)luck Express though.
Hope you can find a solution other than that.
I have heard recently that NAV has failed to "clean" certain
variations of the latest worm (not trying to start another
virus thread as I don't believe they belong HERE!), so I'd
make sure you don't have any 'phantom' sessions running,
and that if you HAVE disinfected - that you got it ALL,
and it (the virus) didn't just jump to another already
scanned file. Fellow in town (photo shop) says he had
to get a 'software specialist' to come in and kill a worm
that had been giving him much the same symptoms as you are
experiencing. Said the crazy thing jumped all over the
place staying away from the NAV Cleaner until they noticed
what it was doing and headed it off somehow (unknown how).
Corrupted 127 files before they were done, but recovered
almost all of them after the virus was finally caught/killed.
Best of luck.
