IMHO, the only "mental illness" is the stubborness to
continue using an OS that is so vulnerable to viral
attack and 'remote manipulation'...

Many (dare I say MOST) of these 'people' that are sending
you these eMails probably don't know their computers are
doing it as they don't have the slightest idea of the
basic operations of their own systems.  They know where
the ON/OFF switch is and how to 'point-n-click', and
that's about the extent of their knowledge...

The only reason I can think of for any WinDohs user to
continue using an eMail client like 'Outlook Express'
which has so many weaknesses (which allow these worms
to propagate so easily) is sheer ignorance, but then
you just can't help some people...  :-(

And todays lamer excuse for not knowing that they are
infected, is; "Well, I update my virus checker at LEAST
once a month...  It CAN'T be MY computer that's doing it!"

DAILY is not often enough!  Think about it...
By the time a virus (in this case WORM) gets sent out by
the original 'sub-human' author several days may pass b4
anyone notices it and then a couple more days before any
of the AV software writers get a copy of it (you think
the virus authors are going to send it to them first ?).
By that time, as in the case of the k-l-e-z-* worm, it's
WAAAAY too late to keep it from spreading :-(
