Hi
If I recall correctly, in the original post the individual was looking for
his email folders. IF you are running Outlook Express (which I think he
was) all the email folders have a file suffix of .mbx whether it is in Win95
or Win 98. If you go to your start menu and run a find on *.mbx it will
show you all those folders. HOWEVER, you DO NOT want to delete these as
when you get back in Outlook Express you will find all your email folders
and their mail GONE. IF you want to decrease the size of your email folders
the correct way is to go into Outlook Express and delete your unwanted
messages one by one, keeping the ones you want. Then if you don't have the
program set up to empty the deleted mail folder on closure go into your
deleted mail folder and tell it to delete all messages.

Incidentlly, if you want to move all your email from Outlook Express on one
machine to another I have found that the easy way to do this is to copy all
your .MBX files onto floppy (or zip disk etc). Then copy them into the
folder on the new machine that contains the .MBX files. This is assuming
that you are using Outlook Express and Win9xx on both machines, I can't
vouch for other operating systems. Done it many times and it works well!
NOTE: If you are using floppies and the files are larger than 1.4MB you
will need to use an archiving program such as WinZip that allows disk
spanning.
