If any of you know how to allow an AOL subscriber to post using plain text
'without' multi-part alternative format, please write down the instructions and
post them here.

The qth.net lists are intended to use only plain text, not html and not the AOL
brand of html. Posts sent using the html and AOL format used to be simply
rejected by the system. Calls to AOL for guidance resulted in a waste of time.
Most of those who were 'tech' support had no idea what multi-part alternative
even was.

Al Waller, K3TKJ, the founder/owner of the qth.net/qsl.net systems wrote a
routine that now allows these posts to pass through as plain text. This is why
you see the message following such posts that many of you have asked about.

If one of you knows how to make the software used by AOL, versions 6.0 and 7.0
work in plain text without multi-part alternative format, please post it here
for all.

thanks.
