[Ham-Computers] Which Firewall?

The best (most secure) solution for a firewall is to use a stand-alone
firewall appliance, *properly configured*, and then continually apply
firmware updates as they come out. New attack methods and vulnerabilities
will always come up, so the continous updates are necessary with any product
in order to remain secure as possible.
For the average home user, this probably isn't very practical, due to the
time and expertise required. The best bet then, in this case, is probably to
find an ISP that uses the security practices outlined above... If nothing
else is available, the firewall in Windows XP, as I mentioned before, is the
easiest to configure of all software solutions I have seen.
