I am in Genesee County, near Davison, Michigan. As most of you know, I am
totally blind. I purchased a new Easy CD Creator, Platinum Edition and a friend
was going to work with me on adapting it to work with my screen reading
software. Unfortunately, he has had some medical issues happen and he is not
available. I must create configuration files that instruct the screen reading
software what to read on the screen, where it is, how to read it and so forth.
Otherwise it simply reads the entire screen.

This obviously requires sighted assistance.

What I need, is somebody with experience using the software package mentioned
above to convert vinyl recordings to CD. I had hoped to go from vinyl to digital
audio tape (DAT) converting from analog to digital, then to the sound card.
However, I can go direct from the vinyl to the sound card, if that is how
somebody else who knows how to do this has done it previously.

If I can procure step by step instructions on how to do this vinyl to CD
conversion, then I can write the necessary configuration files to make the
screen reader do what I need in the future.

If you are near my QTH and can assist in person or can provide written or
telephone instructions, I would be very appreciative. Thanks!
