Hello Walt.

I had one of those that I tried to use with my TRS80 model 1.  I hated 
it and the cassett tape issue never helped.  The interface was about 
like using one of the XR2206 modems (usable but that is about it). That 
is what forced me to buy a CrownMicro Rom116 interface and never looked 
back.  The Macrotronics was one of the first RTTY interfaces so it was 
popular but only because it was all that was available.
