[Hallicrafters] Possible solution to Hallicrafters "S" meter question?

Thought this might interest you?  I have a SX-28 that is completely rebuilt.  The “S” meter seems to be a common problem.  If yours isn’t completely missing sometimes it can be rebuilt.  Here is how my SX-28’s was done by a friend of mine, Gerry O’Hara.  If you want to contact him e-mail me directly and I will ask his permission.  I don;t think he will mind but I better ask him first.  BTW you may want to check out the Canadian Vintage Radio Society and/or the SPARC radio museum the next time you visit Vancouver ( Maple Ridge) if you haven’t already done so—great bunch of guys. The SPARC museum has a complete BC radio station studio as well as an exact replica of the radio room on the Carpathia (of Titanic fame)  It was used as a set in movies .
