The AADE is drifty as heck and not good at the lower levels.
The Tonghui th series are superb. We have done precision VFO stabilizing and temp comp for years using the Boonton 71A early on, then Tonghoi TH2822A then TH2822C. Both rock stable and accurate. When we use the TH2822C to measure Temp variable capacitor clusters using a 20 to 40 minute heat progression, it does not vary and will measure to approximately .001pF and .001uH, look at the specs.
We have a fairly comprehensive inventory of Class 1 temp comp capacitors and the setup to measure them that will be available over time if anyone is interested in capacitively tuned VFO work. The 71A will go as well.

Subject: [Hallicrafters] LCR meter recommendations?
Do any of you use one of those digital LCR meters? I'm thinking of putting one on my Christmas list if there's a not very expensive one that can reach small picofarad & microfarad values. Ones I'm looked at so far seem to quit around 200pF and 100uH.
Thanks!
