Time for an update:

I've been making good progress, all of the out of tolerance resistors have
been replaced. All of the caps have been checked and the bad ones replaced.
I replaced all of the bathtub caps using either terminal strips or turret
boards - I'll post some pics later. All of the pots and switches have been
checked and cleaned as necessary.

At this point all of the chassis electronics have been gone through so this
morning I moved on to the turret assembly. What I have found there is going
to bring this resto to a screeching halt - I was hoping to get power to it
tomorrow..........

What I found is that ALL of the ant modules have the input coil damaged. The
leads going from the terminal to the coil are fused, gone, missing,
evaporated...... Looks like maybe someone connected a voltage to the antenna
input then spun the band selector wondering why there was no signal on any
bands! Upon closer examination the spring fingers connecting to those
terminals on the turret assembly are pitted - further evidence of an
overvoltage issue.

If anyone has these parts we need to talk!
