I did go for the S-15, I got it for a decent price well under the $250.

 

It is missing the screws on the bottom plate, and I will be looking for the
correct type to replace those. On the inside to the middle left there is an
area were the patent and SN plate was removed. Fat chance of ever finding
one of them. My SX-16 has one.

 

Cabinet will need to be re-wrinkle painted. I recall articles on doing that,
Halli site?, and will be trying that for the first time. Recapping later.

 

Radio is otherwise very complete and from a significant radio lover in
Oxnard.
