Those knobs were used on some military gear, ART-13 comes to mind, maybe 
others.  You might check with Fair Radio and, maybe, Surplus Sales of 
Nebraska.

I don't know why but, they seemed to deteriorate over time and just fall 
apart.  Good luck in your quest.
