Would you have any information on FCC SX-28 receivers equipped with a narrow band second IF strip from McLoughlin Engineering ? I understand these were made to fill a requirement for steep IF skirts for interference rejection, while preserving the high frequency content of spoken Japanese. Some of these units may have found their way to Australia during the early 1940's.
I am also seeking information on the US Navy version SX-28, CHL-46195 which was used in the RBY panoramic receiver during the same time frame. I have one of these radios on my bench.

*****Alas,Chuck,no further information is in my possession, good luck with your quest.

Regards,brian g.
