Good evening Ross,
Good to hear from you and nice to hear a familiar voice.
The band switch has been posted on the Hallicrafters lists for some time
now. For a while this list didn't work. Everything was bounced but heard
from some of the guys it was in operation so posted.
I am working with a fellow that rebuilt the final compartment and needed to
do a complete rewire. The schematic for the new band switch is accurate but
confusing and being a rather high power amp he was a bit unsettled. So, I
integrated it into the most current schematic for clarity.
BTW, I've backed away from restoration so I can finish the web site --- It's
lingered for 10 years --- about time eh? Looking for a tech that is willing
to take the SR-2000 work ---- any interest?
Again good to hear from you Ross --- Kindest regards Jim K9AXN

And it took you 45 years to tell us about it…just kidding.

There has been some confusion regarding the wiring of the newest (1971)
final band switch for the SR-2000.
http://k9axn.com/_mgxroot/page_10892.html is a photo of the switch and
schematic describing the change.
Kindest regards Jim k9AXN
