If it's truly unused it should still have the wiring diagram inside the
bottom plate, Jack. Pull those little screws out of the bottom and you
should be set. The fact that it has a plug already attached seems to
indicate it saw or was at least prepped for use, so if for no other reason,
I'd pull the bottom plate and check to see if there's a battery inside
leaking all over.
