[Hallicrafters] Hallicrafters WWII Bomb Testing

Hi folks,
I received this intriguing web link regarding the history of the Atomic Bomb from my friends at NI6IW (USS Midway Ship Museum in San Diego). 

On the fifth photo you'll see a piece I equipment designated with the familiar (and rather prominent) "h" sitting in the top rack of bomb test rack. 

Can anyone in this history-rich team
expand on which model it might have been and what function it served??
